Yes, that is "Red". Apparently when they dropped the engine to replace the engine bolt that snapped and do the valve job, it was found to have the cylinder rings broken. I have to wait for it to be done to sell it. Oh well.
No damage to cylinder wall. Apparently though, Ducati Italy does not have the cylinder rings, they are on back order so now I have to wait for whenever they can find those. I'm going to call around and see what I can find. Cost is up there, not too bad though, no rework done to the engine as that would cost me a pretty penny, probably more than the bike is worth.

any damage to the cylinder wall? how much is it gonna cost? you replacing parts, just to get it running? or reworking the whole engine?

Send me part numbers, and year, make, model, etc. I'll ask around at the shops here. we have 3-4 duc shops around me alone. I'll call Seattle too.
Then just have them rebuild it, no extra stuff, keep it on the low cost side and then sell that mother.
